Congratulations to Ambra who added another work exam in her collection: ZVV1.


On Saturday there was the World Dog Show in Bratislava (SK). The sister of our Dream, Vegas, won the junior class (9 females) with the CAJC title, Junior World Winner and after winning over the best junior male she received even the Best Junior! At only 9 months and 2 days she was the youngest of the class! Her mother Maggy won the champions class (14 beautiful females) and r.CACIB. Congratulations to the owner and breeder, Anna, for such a great success that is not finished "only" with these 2 titles. Her wonderful Conny, the father of the Junior World Winner Vegas (and of our Dream), is also father of the Veteran World Winner Oriflame and grandfather of the World Winner Uno. Moreover, many other titled dogs of this show have Conny's blood in their veins (Junior World Winner males, Winner of the intermediate class males, ris.CAC of the intermediate class females, winner and ris.CAC of the working class females... In few words: an incredible success of Anna's dogs and Conny's blood. Congratulations!

Amalka went to another special hovawart show to try to gain the last missing CAC, but she achieved "only" r.CAC, which is still a very nice result, but it is not sufficient to close the championship. This is already her 4th r.CAC from the special shows, but the last CAC (that must be from a special or a club show) does not arrive. We are not losing the faith and we'll retry the next year.

Very good news in these 3 months!
Axi became a first class stud dog of the Czech Hovawart Club, easily passing the mental tests.

Dream's beautiful mum Maggy fulfilled the conditions to become the Polish Champion. Congratulations!

They became real friends and even when Tommy is sleeping Dream wants to be close to him - she found herself a very comfortable place to sleep under his baby-coach!

Look at DREAM, our new, long expected and rigorously selected female. She is a beautiful little black devil with a perfect mentality and great working potential, which is obvious not only from her behavior but resulted also in the mentality tests for puppies that she passed without any problems. She can be proud of many very succesful ancestors both in the dog shows and at work. In the first 6 generations of her pedigree you can find 15 Interchampions, 23 German VDH Champions and 17 German Club Champions, but also 38 dogs with the highest work exams (SchH III, VPG 3 or IPO 3) and even 5 dogs with Körung. This blood is exactly what I was searching for so many months - not "only" beautiful dogs and neither "only" working lines. Dream fulfills all of my expectations - her blood line combines healthy, beautiful and work talented dogs. I hope that all my dreams about her will become true.

Amalka won her class at today`s show, but received only r.CAC. We will retry to gain the last needed CAC on the special show in March.

We did not succeed to breed Amalka with the lovely german stud dog so the B puppies are postponed till the next year. This time we hope to be more lucky.

Ambra passed her 5th working exam: Fpr 1. Congratulations!

Amalka gained another 3rd excellent at the special hovawart show that took place in Bastia Umbra. Still only 1 CAC from the club show left to become the Italian Champion. We`ll try to gain it the next year.

Ambra arrived second in the category of ZPU1 and gained the same amount of points as the winner. She missed the absolute victory only thanks to a misfortune in tossing the coin for the first place! Congratulations anyway, because nobody expected this great result at her first presence in the championship. And good luck for the future competitions!

Amalka achieved another nice result in the club show, where she gained the 3rd place (out of 11) with the "excellent" mark. The judge, M. Kunze from Germany, was very strict and gave the "excellent" to only 5 females in this class.

Amalka added another victory today! She obtained another precious CAC and CACIB at today's show of Torino. Only 1 CAC left to become the Italian Champion!

Amalka continues to surprise us! At the club show today she beated 16 females in the open class and gained V1 CAC. Later on she beated also the winner of the champions class and gained the "Best female" of the show. The judge: Sabine Kerschner (A)

Axi gained a nice "V" at the Austrian Club Show in Amstetten on Saturday. Congratulations!

Already 3 years have passed since Fatima gave birth to the wonderful 10 puppies. By now they have become lovely adults that bring joy and hapiness to their masters. We wish you all a lot of happy years and fun together! Happy birthday!

Amálka won both shows of this weekend gaining V1 CAC at the national show of Bra yesterday, and V1 CAC BOB at the national show of Mondovi today. These 2 CAC summed up with the 2 CAC from Albenga and Sanremo give her the right to another title: "Campione Alpi del Mare".

Axi went to the International dog show of Wieselburg (A) last weekend and obtained a nice V4 in the open class. Congratulations!

After a long period of no updates on this site I am finally bringing you the latest news! It is enough to look at the photo on the right to understand that we were too busy with the new member of our family to update this site. From now on I promise you to bring the news almost as often like before.




Our Amalka received the diploma of the Junior Champion and furthermore she obtained the fabulous title of Champion of the year 2006 of the Italian hovawart club. We are really proud of her!
This year she has already participated on 3 dog shows obtaining one r.CAC, two CAC, one CACIB and one BOB! All her results can be seen here.

Axi obtained a great result this Sunday! At the austrian international show he won the middle class with V1 CACA and added also r.CACIB! Congratulations and good luck for the other shows that are coming!

Axi took part in this sunday's dog show in Germany and received a beautiful judgement with the "excellent" mark. His father received "2nd excellent r.CAC". Congratulations to both!

Two puppies represented our kennel on the Sunday's dog show: Axi and Arisha. The austrian judge was very severe and gave mostly "very good" or only "good" marks. For this reason we are very happy that Arisha reached a beautiful "3rd excellent" and Axi "4th very good". Their father won again and received another CAC, r.CACIB. Congratulations! In total 71 hovawarts participated in the show.

At today's hovawart special show it was Amalka's first time to compete in the open class (in only 20 months of age) and she did not disappoint us! Her second place together with the r.CAC title made us very happy!

Two puppies represented our kennel at the Sunday's dog show - Axi and Arisha. Among a very strong competition they both obtained a very nice result: Arisha won the young class with excellent judgement and received the "CAJC" title. Axi was in the middle class where he received the "excellent" mark. Only by mistake he was entered into the middle class and had to compete with much older dogs than he would have to in the young class. If not, he could have obtained a much better result. Congratulations to both and good luck with the next year's shows to all of our puppies!

I added new photos of Axi and Arisha together with the father. You can also see new Amalka's pictures. And to end with, in the gallery, inside the section "photos together", you can find new pictures of Fatima and Amalka playing together.

At the end I could not participate at the show personally but I decided to send Amalka to Poland anyway. Friday night I loaded her into the car of my friend who promised to show Amalka in the ring. The problem was that Amalka did not know my friend very well and while I was looking at them leaving, I could read in Amalka's eyes an incredible horror - she must have thought that I sold her to someone else. In fact, she tried to run away after she finally got out of the car and she was quite frightened. Given this, I was not very sure that Amalka would be ready to enter in the show ring the following morning. At the end my friend managed to make her enter, but Amalka was very nervous, didn't stand still and she even growled at the judge! Something she has never done before! Under these conditions her final "excellent" mark was a great result, especially because only 5 females in the young class got the "excellent" mark! And for the next time I know, that it is better to show Amalka myself. She is too much dependent on me.

Atos, the father of Amalka, obtained Exc.1, CAC in the work class and became the Polish Champion! Congratulations!

I spent this great weekend together with more or less 40 other hovawart fans and their dogs in a beautiful part of the Czech republic. On Saturday we did a 12 kilometres walk and our dogs spent all day playing together. The weather was horrible and so I can offer you only few photos in the gallery, see section Photos together. On Sunday we had a lesson with a famous czech psychologist and trainer of dogs. It was a beautiful weekend where I could meet my old hovawart friends that I didn't see for more than a year. I hope to be able to come to see them again soon!

Amalka wins the young class at both of the two dog shows of this weekend (the national and the international show of Torino) and together with the previous 9 victories she finally obtains enough points to become the Italian Junior Champion! The summary of her show results can be found here.

Amalka reaches second place and "excellent" mark in the young class with a nice jugdement.

At the first two September shows Amalka received great results again. At both of the shows she received 1st Excellent, Best Young and BOB. All her show results are here.

At the Austrian club show our kennel was represented by Amalka and Axi. To our great pleasure also their father was present. Amalka's result was "very good", because she seemed too fat to the german judge. Although I do not agree, I was quite happy with the result because no other defects were mentioned in the judgement. In the young class there were 14 females, out of which only 4 got "excellent" and 5 of them got only "good". The judge, Mrs. Berges, was a little bit too tough.

The judge of the males, Mr. Langheim, was enough severe too. In the young class he did not give "excellent" to any of the dogs. Our puppy Axi was among them and to our great pleasure and surprise he won the young class!! It was his first participation at a dog show and he really kicked off in an incredible way!

Tonda (Atos), the father of the puppies, got "3rd excellent" in the work class, although I am not the only one to think that he should have reached at least the second position - his movement was incredible and really unique.

Axi was the first puppy of our litter A to make the X-rays for the hip dysplasia and the result is perfect: A1! Congratulations.

Exactly 1 year ago Fatima gave birth to our first litter - 10 beautiful little puppies who have turned into beautiful young dogs by now. I added for you some new pictures of Arisha, Axi, Ariella and Ambra. I hope to receive recent pictures of the others soon.

All show results of Amalka here. In the final competitions for the Young Winner of the show she was among the 7 best out of 46 competing winners of diverse breeds!

Although younger than her competitors, Ambra won thanks to her great body structure and move. We wish her a lot of similar successes at the coming shows.

Although we won and received a very nice judgement, the final verdict was "very good 1°". Not even one dog in the young class received "excellent".

The father of our litter "A", Atos ze Stareho dvora, fulfilles all the conditions to become the Interchampion. Only 5 dogs in the Czech hovawart history have obtained this title and I am very proud to say that our puppies from the litter "A" have 3 of these Interchampions in their pedigree!.
